I was searching my cupboard for a CD, when suddenly my hands touched a packet. A broad Smile decorated my face as I peeped into the content... CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lots and Lots of Birthday , New Year , Valentine’s day, Rakhi, Farewell, Christmas, Diwali Cards that were gifted to me during this 24 years of my journey !!! I forgot completely about the cd and browsed through my collection. It reminded me of all the smiling faces who gifted me this lifelong treasure. The oldest card I found was given to me by my paternal grandparents when I was 7 years old, a handmade card with Mickey Mouse on top. My grandparents are no more alive but their wishes are still lively in the card and my memory! Most of the cards were from my school and college days...Strange, we didn’t earn then but still saved pocket money to buy these items to bring smile on our loved ones face. The whole idea being so selfless and pure. It made me feel so proud and rich. It made me feel loved and cared…A thoug
